Sip N' Floral: Analog Futures Workshop

Rooted in the vibrant language of nature, flowers can symbolize different things to different people. In Sip n’ Floral, you begin as a single, white lily—a blank canvas where you may freely express your identity, emotions, the memories of another, or something meaningful. Guided by a professional florist, you will cultivate a complimentary floral arrangement for your centerpiece lily. Driven by intuition and creativity, the flowers you pick will hold the reflections of you. Embark on a spiritual journey of self-reflection and expression, accompanied by the warmth of tea refreshments.

ColourLab: Analog Futures Workshop

This workshop explores colour theory through the lens of intentional and purposeful decision-making. Participants will learn how colour can be used as a strategic design tool, connecting foundational colour theory principles with an approach that can be applied across experiential design projects. The workshop will introduce essential colour concepts through a combination of discussion, hands-on exploration, and a creative activity. Participants will be challenged to develop and articulate their own custom colour palettes, considering how their choices communicate emotion, meaning, and experience.

Bound by Hand: Analog Futures Workshop

In this workshope, participants learned the traditional art of bookbinding to craft their own handmade journals. They parted with a one-of-a-kind journal ready to be a personal archive to collect ideas, sketches, reflections and creative thinking throughout the semester; along with the skills to make many more in the future. Sensapalooza

Sensapalooza is an annual orientation event open to all students past and present. The event is part welcome party and part creative playground for new students, upper-years and alumni alike. Our inaugural event included multi-coloured jello and an amazing matcha station by Hannah Nguyễn, a live tie-dye making workshop hosted by Emma Gillespie, and a high-stakes linen outfit contest, all set to the incredible sounds of DJ KUHL and iDJ.

At Sensapalooza, we also launched Disassembly, the lab's inaugural publication.

Felting in Stereo: Analog Futures Workshop

In Felting in Stereo, as a series of records played, participants were invited to create a record of their own made entirely out of felted wool. Working with wool and needle, they translated rhythm, tone, and atmosphere into texture, density, and form. Hosted by Sophia Kuhl.

Fragrance Echo: Analog Futures Workshop

Participants sat in a chain and encountered a fragrance one at a time. Each person translated what they perceived into a new scent using only memory, language, and instinct. Hosted by Samira Elbehairy.
